For the next week or two I am going to feature pieces of Fenton Art Glass. Most of these pieces are from a 28 year collection of a couple that are downsizing and are being auctioned off. Fenton has to be the number one producer of art glass. The pictured Fenton Bowl is a Drapery Opalescent Cranberry Bowl. The ruffled edge is complimented by a rippled effect that highlights and adds to the beauty of this bowl. There are different shades of Cranberry, starting out as a deep cranberry color and gradually getting to a lighter shade.
This bowl measures 9 1/4” in diameter and is approximately 3 1/2” tall. It is a breathtaking work of art, this Cranberry Bowl is the perfect example of Fenton's classic beautiful art glass.
